Emily Carr Grad Party 2013

You are invited to join the 2013 graduates from Emily Carr Univesity of Art + Design at the 2013 Grad Party at 14 West 7th Ave in Vancouver, BC on May 4, 2013. The event will include a multiroom party, with music, visuals, installations, prizes in two locations at West 7 Studios and Photohaus Gallery. This amazing location is both gallery, studio and school, but will be re-imagined into interactive stages, installation spaces, photo booths, and other surprises.

Foundation Show 2013

Emily Carr Students

For those wishing to check out a range of work by current students who are completing their first year of studies at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, please join in to participate in the Foundation Show 2013.

The exhibition will take place in the Concourse Gallery, along with select classrooms at 1399 Johnston Street in Vancouver, BC. The opening reception is on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 7 – 10pm, and if you aren’t able to make it for the opening night, the show will be up and running from April 20 – 27, 2013.

Squaw Valley Screenwriting Program

Every summer for over 40 years, the Community of Writers at Squaw Valley has brought together poets, prose writers and screenwriters for separate weeks of workshops, individual conferences, lectures, panels, readings, and discussions of the craft and the business of writing. The Community has a competitive admissions procedure and the level of writing is high, and the goal of the program is 
to assist writers to improve their craft and thus move them closer to production.

The program will run from July 8 – 15, 2013, with a final application deadline of April 2, 2013. All applicants will be notified by May 10, 2013.
